The gite Cervus
The self catering apartment or holiday home, classified 4 épis by Gîtes de France, has been created in a vast volume under the roof. We have tried to keep an open and very luminous space, in order to create a loft-style gite, a spacious holiday home with a surface of 65 m2.
The kitchen is open on the living area on the same level, which communicates with the open bedroom on the mezzanine. A comfortable bathroom with walk-in shower. Nice terrace with mountain views.
Enjoy reading or watching the sun set over the valley from the garden with the lounge chairs just below our house.
Holiday rental Alpes
This makes a comfortable rental holiday home in the Alps for a couple or a couple with one child or two children.
The holiday rental apartment Cervus is the ideal starting point to discover le Pays du Guil, the Parc du Queyras and the Parc des Ecrins, Guillestre, Mont Dauphin or even the lake of Serre Ponçon. During spring, summer and autumn, there are plenty of hikes to do, you can go rafting on the rivers the Guil and the Durance, mountain biking or road cycling on the famous cols, paragliding or swimming in the lake downhill, the plan d'eau d'Eygliers. In winter, you can go skiing on the slopes of Vars and Risoul, or go cross country skiing in the Parc du Queyras.

The living area
The living area, a well-designed 23 m2 space, is decorated with some classic pieces, such as a Wassily chair or the LC3 from Le Corbusier, that blend in well with noble materials like a grès porcelain stoneware and oak hardwood floor.
You’ll enjoy the warmth of the pellet stove, listening to your favourite music on the Ipod or Ipad docking station, watch TV or enjoy the mountain views. Internet connection via WIFI.

The kitchen
A fully equipped kitchen of 12 m2, with fridge, oven, microwave, coffee maker, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer. Here as well, you’ll appreciate the pure lines of the decoration as well as the practical side of it, and you’ll find the comfort of well-known design classics such as the “plastic chairs” by Charles and Ray Eames next to an oak hardwood table.

The bedroom
A spacious and very clear bedroom (19 m2), open on the living area, on the mezzanine floor. A bed of 160 x 200. In one corner of this space you’ll find a convertible sofa, that can be transformed into a bed to accommodate for 1 or 2 children.
Colours of sand from the living area blend in with the muscat for a soft woollen touch, noble materials such as an oakwood floor create a warm atmosphere.

The sauna
After an exciting day on the slopes, an exhausting day hiking the trails, or just because you feel like relaxing, our sauna is the perfect place to unwind, as a couple or between friends. In the old vaulted cellar of the house, where in a previous life of the house the wine barrels were, you’ll enjoy an atmosphere of rock, wood and soft light.
A 30 minute session is at 20 euro per room (we supply bathrobe and slippers).
Massages
What could be more agreeable than a relaxing massage in the privacy and comfort of your apartment? Isabelle, one of our neighbours, has specialised in ayurvedic massages as well as in Californian style, sport massage, Thaï massage etc. Each session is entirely adapted to your personal needs. A treatment of the entire body with various oils and a massage concentrating on energy lines and pressure points for a holistic relaxation experience.
A massage session of one hour, adapted to your wishes, for 80 euro.
