Bed and breakfast in the Hautes Alpes
A big house dating back to 1560, originally built as a priory, seen from the outside it blends in perfectly with the other houses in our small hamlet. Once inside however, the contrast of old and modern provides an agreable surprise. When renovating the house we have aimed to offer you space, silence and comfort. We wanted to preserve the charm and the authentic character of the volumes and the materials of the house, while giving it a modern contemporary touch to create a comfortable and charming bed and breakfast in the Hautes Alpes.
BnB rooms
You have the choice of 4 BnB rooms, all of them completely different in style, 2 classical rooms and 2 atypical rooms. All our bed and breakfast rooms are very spacious, comfortable and each one has its own unique charme and style.
Breakfast is served on the terrace next to the entrance door as soon as weather permits it.
Then set off hiking to discover the beauty of the Parc des Ecrins or the Parc du Queyras. There are plenty of well maintained mountainbike tracks in the Queyras and the Guillestrois, approximately 22 round trips in the vicinity of our house. Go road cycling on the famous cols in our area, or go white water rafting on the Guil or the Durance. And how about a swim in one of the mountain lakes? Challenging and chilly maybe? In winter, go skiing in Vars or Risoul, or cross country skiing in the Queyras, or even dog sledding. Annoying yourself will not be an option...
Late afternoon, enjoy the late afternoons reading on one of the lounge chairs in the garden and admire one of our famous sunsets, or sit down next to the wood burner for a cosy moment, and prepare for dinner at our table d'hôtes or in of the nice restaurants close by.
Enjoy an aperitif on the terrace or next to the wood stove, followed by dinner in table d'hôtes style in our vaulted ceiling dining room. If you prefer the personal touch and experience of a real BnB or a boutique hotel, instead of the anonimity of a big hotel in the Alps, we'd be more than happy to welcome you in our house. And book direct with us for the best rates.

Dinner
2 or 3 evenings a week, we serve dinner in table d'hote style in the vaulted room of the house, on reservation. Delicious meals prepared with fresh, local ingredients, variations on fish, meat and vegetarian dishes, inspiration taken from recipes by chefs from all over the world.
We serve local wine by the glass (6 euro), a local wine, often surprising, yet always agreable, an interesting selection of local wines, wines from The Hautes Alpes as well as a small selection of wines from well-known regions served by the bottle. An interesting selection of wines to accompany your dinner.
We ask you not to bring your own drinks.
Dinner is at 36 euro per person (aperitif, starter, main course, desert).
We start with the aperitif around 8 pm.
The evenings when we are not able to serve dinner, and you don't want to go out for dinner, we can serve you an assortment of local cheeses, with bread and a small salad (please inform us upfront).
