The gite Elan

The self catering apartment Elan (Moose), classified 4 épis by Gîtes de France, has been created in a vast volume under the roof.

An open and very luminous space of 85 m2, a nice apartment for 4 adults.

Living area with open plan kitchen under imposing wooden beams of the roof. An agreeable terrace facing the mountains.

Enjoy reading or watching the sun set over the valley from the garden with the lounge chairs just below our house.

The living area

The living space, dining area and fully equipped kitchen are a comfortable 33 m2.

Inspired by Charles and Ray Eames, combined with Le Corbusier and a “Barcelona chair” by Mies van der Rohe, noble materials such as gres porcelain tiles and an oak parquet. Under the wooden beams, you’ll enjoy the warmth of the pellet stove, listening to your favourite music on the Ipod or Ipad docking station, watch TV or just enjoy reading in a cosy nest. Internet connection via WIFI.
The kitchen

A fully equipped kitchen in “U” shape with fridge, oven, microwave, coffee maker, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer.

Here as well, you’ll appreciate the pure lines of the decoration as well as the practical side of the kitchen, the noble materials such as the oak kitchen top and stainless steel splashbacks, and you’ll find the comfort of well-known design classics such as the “plastic chairs” by Charles and Ray Eames around an oak hardwood table.
The terrace

The sun invites you to take breakfast outside, while listening to the lovely chant of the birds.

You’ll enjoy the cool shadow in the warm afternoons and evenings in the Southern Alps.
The bedrooms

Two spacious and very clear bedrooms (14 and 13 m2), with double beds of 160 x 200, each with its own ensuite bathroom. Colours of chalk grey or beige, a “rocking chair” by Charles and Ray Eames, true areas to relax.

Warm oak hardwood floors add to the overall atmosphere.
The bathrooms

Each bedroom has its own spacious bathroom (9 and 6 m2), with pure lines, the warmth of a teak parquet (“boat” style for one, grey for the other), the luxury of walk in showers with rain shower. Separate toilets for one bathroom, toilets in the other bathroom.

The sauna

After an exciting day on the slopes, an exhausting day hiking the trails, or just because you feel like relaxing, our sauna is the perfect place to unwind, as a couple or between friends. In the old vaulted cellar of the house, where in a previous life of the house the wine barrels were, you’ll enjoy an atmosphere of rock, wood and soft light.

A 30 minute session is at 20 euro per room (we supply bathrobe and slippers).

Massages

What could be more agreeable than a relaxing massage in the privacy and comfort of your apartment? Isabelle, one of our neighbours, has specialised in ayurvedic massages as well as in Californian style, sport massage, Thaï massage etc. Each session is entirely adapted to your personal needs. A treatment of the entire body with various oils and a massage concentrating on energy lines and pressure points for a holistic relaxation experience.

A massage session of one hour, adapted to your wishes, for 80 euro.
